Debbie Chilton

Debbie Chilton has been involved in the Ipswich arts community since 1998. She is a published poet and author. As an visual artist, her passion is to mentor other artists and be an advocate for the arts sector. Debbie believes the Ipswich arts community has a many role to play in rebuilding of city after recent years setbacks.

Debbie’s motivation underlying every project she engages in is to facilitate opportunities for herself and others. In 2013, she founded ArtISability, a professional development visual arts workshop program. The industry networks and skills she gained in building this program enhanced her ability to coordinate small scale workshop programs.
