Martin Sawtell

Martin Sawtell wanted to be an astronaut, but fell in love with arts administration instead.

He has over 20 years’ experience as an arts manager, marketer and community cultural development practitioner in South Australia and Western Australia.

A ‘quiet leader’, Martin is proud to continue Access2Arts’s legacy as Australia’s first and longest-standing peak arts and disability organisation to be disability-led, and is passionate about the role of disability arts in achieving equity for Deaf and disabled people.
